Overview:

Onward Healthcare currently has an opening for a PACU nurse (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) in one of the Pittsburgh's top medical facilities. Travel RNs and local nursing candidates are both welcome to apply for this position.  We are offering competitive pay rates for this 13-week contract position. Relocation may also be provided for non-local candidates. 

Job Description for PACU Nurses:

The PACU nurse must be specialized and highly trained in critical care nursing. The PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) RN will provide a safe environment for patients following an operative procedure in which anesthesia was administered. The PACU RN must also be certified in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), and possibly pediatric advanced life support (PALS) depending on the setting.

Requirements for PACU / Recovery Room RN Jobs:

• Active in-state nursing license
• Minimum 1 year of PACU nurse experience
